Internet's Down
Hey All! Our internet has been down for the past week or so. I don't know what the problem is. I can start it up but it shuts back down after a minute. So, I haven't been able to post or check e-mail lately. I'm actually on my friends computer right now. The good news is that we're switching providers and they are coming out tomorrow to set us up and hopefully fix the problem.
No adoption news to share. We are still hoping and praying for a court date before everything closes down in Russia on the 29th. We'll see. If not, then I guess it'll be more like Feb-Mar before we can go back for our boys. This waiting has been the hardest yet! I don't know how to update the thermometer on our blog and Chris has been kind of busy lately but a few of you have asked how we are doing with the fundraising so, we are about $15,000 from meeting our goal. God is so good and He continues to provide.
In other news, Goeppner-Kush(nika) is just around the corner. This is about 4 nights of Christmas for our family. It starts off at our house on Saturday. We're going to see a movie and then we'll go out to dinner and then everyone will come over to our house for dessert and presents from me and Chris. Sunday night we'll be going to Chris' grandmother's house for dinner, dessert and presents. Monday night we go to his Mom's for dinner, dessert and presents and Tuesday afternoon we go to his sister's house for more of the same all day long! By Wednesday we are spent and about 20 lbs heavier!!
I hope you all have wonderful Christmas plans with your families. Please share your family Christmas traditions if you'd like.

Sounds like an exciting 4 days. What movie will you go see. I want to see National Treasure and PS I Love You this weekend.
Praise God on the fundraising. That's a really good chunck out of the way. It will come in before you know it.
We're going to see National Treasure! I loved the first one and the second one looks great too!
The Lord has been faithful to provide what we need and we are so thankful.

Every year the Figgies do a Christmas Ornament exchange. Everyone gets a special ornament that represents something that happened that year. So when Eden's big and grown, she will have her own set of ornaments for her tree and can continue the tradition with her kids and David and I wont have a naked tree lol
What wonderful Christmas traditions!
Our surrounding family will all gather this Christmas Eve, where we exchange presents and have a great time together.
Merry Christmas!
Whew! That sounds like a busy four days. Congrats on the fundraising for the adoption. That's wonderful! I hope you hear news soon. I keep checking.
Merry Christmas!
