A Day To Pray
Every day is a day to pray but today we have chosen to come together as believers and lift up prayers for Russian adoptions.
Thank you to everyone participating in this. With all the stuff going on in Russia I am glad that we are praying today! Our God is sovereign and His will is perfect. I'm praying today that God will move in mighty ways in Russia. I'm praying He will give the Russian officials a desire to see orphans placed in loving families no matter what country they are from. I'm praying for reaccreditation for all agencies, for families to get their referrals, travel dates and court dates. I'm praying for those few families that are in Russia waiting for their day in court, that they will find favor with the judges and that they will be able to bring their children home. I'm praying that God would give all of us currently adopting a peace that surpasses all understanding that He would give us a renewed sense of hope and lift our spirits. I'm praying that He will protect and provide for our future children. Oh Lord, we humbly come before your throne today asking that you would hear our prayers. We know that You have given us a desire and a passion to adopt children from Russia so we pray that You who began this good work in us would be faithful to complete it. You are Faithful and True and we trust in Your plan for our lives. Amen.

Havent' heard from you in awhile, Penny. Hope all is well!
they are beautiful. My husband and I adopted siblings and what a blessing to have kept them together. Praise God for your decision to do that.
I was so thrilled and excited to read your bolg. Especially the prayer that you posted. Wow. You are an amazing beleiver in Christ' awesome power. I need to be a little more positive in the might power of our god! He is an awesome god and can do miracles. I am currently in contact with list (who is listed as one of your favorite blogs). She is adopting from the same region that my husband and I are adopting from. We are about 1 month behind her in the process. You can read our blog at http://chrisanddanica.blogspot.com.
Hi Penny,
I was reading through the archives of your blog--our son is sleeping!! and I came across a picture at the beginning of your April 2007 archives. It is of three children in a crib. Where did you get that picture? I ask because the child toward the back looks exactly like our son did!
